Safety

The safety issues associated with hydrogen are, in many ways, different from those associated with conventional hydrocarbon fuels. While hydrogen is highly flammable, it has a significant advantage in that it does not pool and diffuses much more quickly than conventional fuels. The autoignition temperature of hydrogen is also quite high (around 580 C). When handled properly, hydrogen is a very safe fuel that eliminates the potential environmental hazards associated with many hydrocarbons. Electric Jet, LLC, has extensive experience in the handling of hydrogen as well as the design of hydrogen fuel systems. We adhere strictly to NFPA regulations and consider operator safety of paramount importance.
